Q - Can I set up different user roles with varying levels of permission? What types of user roles are available, and what access does each role grant?
Ans - Super admin can login to the admin panel that is admin.wizcommerce.com. Super admin can go to user management module where in super admin can see any roles that have been created previously while onboarding. Super admin can play around with the permission of existing roles or can create new roles with new module access and permission.
Once roles are created then super admin can go to user and create new users with different roles.
Q - How do I deactivate or remove a user account from the system?
Ans - To deactivate a user, go to the User Management section, select the user you want to deactivate, and click the 'Deactivate User' button. Confirm the deactivation to complete the process.
User will be logged out & user access will be blocked. All the customers currently under that account will be transferred to the selected user. You will get an option to select a user whom you want to assign the customers of the deactivated user.
Deactivating a user does not affect the records or data they have created. All data remains intact and accessible to other authorized users.
Q - Can I edit user roles and permissions?
Ans - To edit a role navigate to users and roles under the user management section. Select a particular role that you want to edit, change the name, description and the permission linked to that role. Please make sure that you click save to make the changes.
To edit a user, you can go to that particular user and change the basic details such as First Name, Last Name, Email ID, Department and status. Also you can change the role of the user and change the customer access and order access configuration for the user
Label -
Q- What information is required to set up a new label in the system?
Ans - We need the basic dimensions of the label, including the page size, margins, and padding. We will also need a list of attributes to show on the label along with the basic design of the label you desire.
Q - Can I edit or update existing labels in the label management module?
Ans - No, you cannot update existing labels in the label management module.
Q - Can I export labels in bulk?
Ans - Yes you can download label for multiple products at once. You can use the search by sku id feature to select multiple products at once and export the labels for these.
Inventory
Q - Can I update or edit inventory quantities for specific products in the module?
Ans - Yes you can do so using the import export module.
Q - How does the inventory module handle different product variants or options?
Ans - We treat each individual variant as a unique SKU which essentially shows up as a separate line item on the excel sheet. You can add different inventory amounts for each variant here.
Q - Can I import or export inventory data in bulk for efficiency?
Ans - Yes you can do so using the import export module.
Q - What are different inventory statuses on WizCommerce platform?
Ans - We have the following statuses -
1. In Stock - Product has available quantity>0.
2. Out of Stock - Product has no available quantity and Back order is either not allowed or Back Order limit is exhausted.
3. Back Order - Product has available quantity=0 but there is back order limit which is greater than 0.
