After successfully uploading your products to the WizCommerce platform, the next crucial step is to update your inventory. Regular inventory updates are essential for maintaining accurate stock management, which prevents issues like overselling or stockouts that can negatively impact customer satisfaction.
Keeping your inventory up-to-date also streamlines the order fulfillment process, ensuring quick and accurate delivery of products to customers. Additionally, accurate inventory data enhances reporting and analytics, aiding in informed decision-making regarding restocking, promotions, and overall inventory management. This not only improves the customer experience by providing clear information on product availability but also helps control costs by avoiding unnecessary storage and reducing the risk of holding obsolete stock.
Note: This step is exclusively for adjusting existing inventory levels—new products cannot be created during this process.
Import
Steps :
Navigate to the Import/Export section from the left panel
Click on “Inventory”
Then click on Import
Download the template Excel
Edit the Data Sheet tab on the Excel
Save the Excel sheet
Now, again click on Import
Choose the edited Excel, and click on Next
Select the column headers on the sheet
Click on Next,you will need to map the template fields to the columns
Again click on Next, verify the data, make rectifications if required
Click on Submit
The Inventory are now updated on the platform.
Export
Steps-
Navigate to the Import/Export section from the left panel
Click on “Inventory”
Then click on Export
Select the bell icon at the top right corner
Download the excel file
The Inventory excel file is now downloaded to your system.
